Abstract
From the Vedic period to Treta Yug, women were highly respected in our society. Later on, with the invasion of foreign races in India, the social order was distributed and women could not get the proper education. As a result, they were not involved in the process of decision making in the family. With the change in scenario, in present era, the condition has changed. Women are granted equal status to the men in all walks of life. Education is important component making the Girls equally good part as male parts are. This is promoted by the scholarship to the Girls.
