Indian women have been kept away from the social, political, economic and religious mainstream at long time. Presently, our constitution and legislative committee have provided number of regulations for women’s dignity and development. In this situation, number of women were showing their ability to lead public life. But at the same time, sexual harassment are creating big problems to working women in public life. Comparatively Indian government enacted numbers of strength full measures for protecting women. But till women have been suffering by sexual harassment at working place. Therefore present study tries to examine the strength of legislative measures in India and theirs challenges in protecting women at public place for this purpose, research has following few objectives and research methods for validity results.
